ABOUT THE STORE...
Essentially Empōwered S.A. was created because I grew up in a very creative home, and that creativity flows into my work with essential oils. I am constantly working on new projects and these are just a few of my handmade beauties. I love using clay, wood and fabric to enhance the use of these beautiful drops of magic!

PRODUCTS
Essential Oil Purses
The beautiful oil purses we sell are one-of-a-kind and hand-crafted by a lovely lady called Mathilda, who is part of a Women's Cooperative called Women on the Move. The making of these bags brings work to the rural community.
The fabric is up-cycled, therefore keeping with the sustainable heart of Doterra itself. They come in 4 sizes - 6/8/10/12 oil pockets.
There is not one bag the same! Unique and beautiful xoxo
Ceramic Mixing Bowls
These gorgeous little oil mixing bowls (6cm x 3cm) are hand-crafted by myself and my talented mum, Gill! We use herbs, flowers and antique cutlery to create patterns on the outside of each bowl. The bowls are then fired and glazed by the lovely Brenda Ellish, who runs a pottery studio in Wittedrift with her beautiful daughter Tamsyn. Do go and check them out at @brenda.ellish.ceramics.
Labels and Bottles
Labels designed by myself and Abby from Absolute Design. Recipes are by Natalie Blackburn and other Doterra wellness advocates with experience in aromatherapy and oil use safety. These will be available to purchase printed or as a PDF for you to print when and if you need. The bottles will be available to purchase separately or alongside the labels.
Wood n Things
My father is a carpenter and an all-round creative genius so I love that he's involved in this one. I love wood as a creative medium, and in this case, so does nature! By using driftwood, collected on these beautiful shores, we make holders for oils. My father, Tinks, has also used interesting hardwood and offcuts destined for the winter fire to make some cool oil holders for the kitchen, bathroom, kid's room and even the loo :) We will be introducing different mediums of Resin and Concrete as we go, without losing the natural asthetic!
Essential Oils
Doterra launched in South Africa last year and has seen incredible growth and love for the product. I myself have used the oils for the last 3 years and cannot imagine my life as a mum to a feisty 3 year without oils!!!!

Toy Project - Gorgeous Handmade Toys
Toy Project is a skills and employment initiative for previously unemployed women living in the Groenfrontein valley outside Calitzdorp in the Little Karoo, and the Wittedrift community outside Plettenberg Bay in the Garden Route.
Our quirky and authentic toys and other products are 100% handmade, using little more than needle and thread.
No two are identical - each reflects an individual style and personal expression.
Together with your valued support, life for the women living in these communities is changing
for the better… one stitch at a time.

All our products have been hand-crafted in Plettenberg Bay, one of the most beautiful places on Earth! We endeavour to keep our products local and affordable.
